Registered Listed Veterinary Nurse Jo Brown qualified in 1996 and has had a varied and interesting career working in different practices over the years (including in Bermuda) gaining a city and guilds certificate in the Veterinary Nursing of Exotic Species along the way. She moved to Meldreth from a hectic Lewisham charity practice, looking for a community practice more suited to her love of the outdoors.
Jo has a passion for preventative medicine, canine behaviour and dentistry, having gained the BVNA Certificate in Oral care in 2017.
Jo loves living in the village and is a regular contributor to “Meldreth Matters”, our parish magazine. You will also find her at all the local community events she can get too!
She has two cheeky rescued chihuahuas (Carmen and Rollins) who you may well see walking with her in the area and a big rare breed Normandy Cob ( French horse) who is kept nearby. She competes him at TREC and is a qualified TREC GB judge, she also blogs regularly about all things horse related. She also paints watercolours in her spare time.
