Dr Ana Arcanjo

Veterinary Surgeon

Ana completed an externship in Village Vet Hampstead prior to graduating and in 2018 she graduated from Lisbon’s Veterinary Medicine University, in Portugal, where she is from. She volunteered in neutering programmes in South Africa and Thailand prior moving to the UK.

After moving to the UK, Ana worked in a busy small animal practice in Surrey and developed an interest in small animal internal medicine and surgery. She decided to pursue her interests and since then has completed a Certificate in Advanced Veterinary Practice with University of Liverpool.

In 2022, she joined the team at Village Vet Milton and has since developed an interest in emergency and critical care. Ana finds this area challenging, sometimes a bit stressful but most importantly very rewarding.

Outside of work, Ana enjoys spending time with friends, walking her dog Willow, watching movies with her cat Zoe and cooking with her partner.
