Dr Zoë DeBarro

Veterinary Surgeon

Zoë qualified from the Royal Veterinary College in 1997. After several years working in mixed practice in Bristol and Hertfordshire, Zoë moved to Cottenham in 2003. Zoë’s special interests include feline medicine and ophthalmology. Alongside her duties at Village Vet Cottenham, Zoë helps to provide veterinary services as a Team Lead for StreetVet Cambridge, providing free veterinary care to those experiencing homelessness. In 2011, she completed the Foundation Course run by the Association of British Veterinary Acupuncturists (ABVA), and now uses acupuncture as an adjunct to Western medicine to treat her cases. She also completed the Chicken Vet training course in Sept 2021, and is very happy to see your feathered companions.

Away from work, Zoë spends her time with her family and on her allotment, and is a player and the Juniors Coach for Cambridge Tigers Korfball Club. She also runs the school korfball club at Cottenham Primary School.
