Dr Zoë DeBarro

Zoë qualified from the Royal Veterinary College in 1997. After several years working in mixed practice in Bristol and Hertfordshire, Zoë moved to Cottenham in 2003. Zoë’s special interests include feline medicine and ophthalmology. Alongside her duties at Village Vet Cottenham, Zoë helps to provide veterinary services for Wood Green Animal Shelter at their Heydon branch (near Royston) which rehomes cats, rabbits and guinea pigs. In 2011 she completed the Foundation Course run by the Association of British Veterinary Acupuncturists (ABVA), and now uses acupuncture as an adjunct to Western medicine to treat her cases.

Away from work, Zoë spends her time with her family and enjoys singing, both with a local cambridge choir and the City of London Chamber Choir which performs in concerts and Cathedrals throughout the country.
