Dr Charlotte Cottle

Veterinary Surgeon

Charlotte graduated from the Royal Veterinary College, London, in 2003 and spent the two years following graduation at a small animal practice in Suffolk. In 2006, Charlotte moved to Mauritius for 6 months to carry out voluntary work for the charity known as PAWS before joining the Village Vet group in 2007 where she works as the Head Vet at the Potters Bar surgery.

She has a particular interest in cats and is responsible for improving and maintaining the clinic to be as ‘feline-friendly’ as possible. Dentistry is her main area of interest and a big passion for her. Charlotte takes great pride in restoring the mouths of her patients back to full health and instigating preventative dental care in the home environment. She has recently started performing Root Canal Treatments (endodontics) as an alternative to canine tooth extraction.

In her spare time, she enjoys keeping fit and runs with her local running club. She has studied towards her British Sign Language Level One, has an interest in beekeeping and tries to make her garden as nature friendly as possible. She has two cheeky young children to look after when she is not at work and lives with her black and white moggy called Austin, her tortoise called Tequila and her husband.
