Coral Donoghue

Veterinary Nurse

Coral’s love for animals started at young age when she was brought up around horses and many other animals. During her school years she gained a part time job as a zoo keeper which fueled her passion for exotic species. After school Coral embarked on my vet nursing course and graduated from the College of Animal Welfare with a Level 3 Diploma in veterinary nursing in 2012. The following year she put her exotic knowledge to the test taking part in an exotics course and passed exams in the summer of 2014 so she now holds a Certificate in the nursing of exotic species. This course also led her to a 2 week work placement in the vet department of London Zoo where she assisted in caring for and carrying out medical procedures on a wide range of species. Coral came to Village Vet in March 2014 to gain more practical experience with exotics along side vets with the same interests.
