From April 6th 2016 all dogs in England, Scotland and Wales must be microchipped

  • From 6th April 2016 new government legislation means that it will become a legal requirement to have your dog microchipped
  • If your dog is already chipped, make sure your registered details are up to date
  • You will have 21 days to fully comply
  • If you are found to not comply you can be fined £500
