Helen Greenley

Helen Greenley BSc, PG Dip CABC runs her own behavioural counselling practice, providing vets in north London and the home counties with a referral service for cats and dogs with behaviour problems. Helen sees clients in their own homes and works closely with their vet to ensure that treatment programmes take into account any relevant medical factors. Having originally qualified as a horse riding instructor, Helen made the move into dog training 15 years ago.

A growing interest in behaviour led Helen to the post graduate diploma in companion animal behaviour counselling at the University of Southampton, which she passed with distinction. Since then, Helen has been passed as a member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers (APDT) and is a registered practitioner with the Animal Behaviour and Training Council (ABTC). Helen is also a provisional member of the Association of Pet Behaviour Counsellors (APBC), which means that having gained the relevant academic qualifications, she is gaining the practical experience necessary for full membership. As an adjunct to her behaviour work, Helen also teaches puppy classes, provides 1-2-1 training and travels the country giving Talking Dogs Scentwork workshops. Helen lives in Hertfordshire with her husband, dogs Bosun, Rosie and Tess and senior cats, Archie and Spike.
