Angela started working for Village Vet in June 2008 and cannot believe how quickly time has gone.
Before joining Village Vet, she was a child minder, which she did for 15 years and you know what people say ”never work with children or animals”. Well Angela has done both and enjoyed them very much.
Animals have been her passion ever since she was knee high (she’s not much bigger now). I have always had an animal of some sort, so feel very lucky to be working in a veterinary practice.
Being a receptionist, Angela gets to meet and greet and have lots of cuddles, with a lot of the animals that come to see us. The hard parts is, she wants to take home all the strays that come in to us (that’s how she ended up with Nala our cat).
In her spare time, she likes to go for walks with her hubby, to whom she has been married to for nearly 29 years, and has two daughters along with Rolo, the Labrador. Tennis is her favourite sport and she is a member of Milton tennis club and plays several times a week. She also likes cycling, horse riding and Jazzer-cise.
