Dr Alisa Rassin
Alisa was born in Moscow Russia, grew up in Israel and later moved to the US with her family. In 2007 Alisa travelled through Central America and fell in love with exotic pets and wildlife medicine.
Upon her return to Philadelphia, she started a Veterinary and Biomedical science program at Penn State, and after that, she went to the Veterinary school at the University of Pennsylvania.
During her studies, Alisa volunteered and worked with the shelter medicine club gaining surgical experience and with the Exotics medicine and surgery department. She then stayed on for an intensive year-long internship with the Exotics department at the University of Pennsylvania after graduation. Her special interests include small mammal and reptile medicine and surgery.
Alisa moved to London with her cat “The Muffin Man” to join her husband in 2016. Outside of work, she enjoys travelling, hiking, trying new foods, and watching movies
